    Guru Dennis Bolze missing

I don't know about all of them. But I can tell you that I've known Dennis for a long time. Or I thought I did. What the investigators have uncovered says that the man that I thought I knew was a complete fabrication. I think he's a sociopath, totally incapable of understanding that other...

    Guru Dennis Bolze missing

I was one of those presenters and the whole thing just about put me into shock. He used me, and the rest of us, to boost his credibility. I've been in touch with some of his victims and they know that we weren't involved - heck he told them not to mention to any of us that he even HAD...

Newbie looking for tips to limit overtrading

Whatever you're using for a setup and trigger, focus on a higher timeframe than what you've been using for execution. Don't even look at the shorter timeframe charts (minimize them if you have to) unless there's a higher timeframe setup in place as well. Then look for the entry on your...

    Fib. Placement

The most effective placement for a single retracement series to factor info from yesterday's close into today's open is actually not dependent on a specific time. You would want to run the retracement from the nearest swing high or low to today's opening price, and update it as new highs or...

    Guru Dennis Bolze missing

Yes, his trading work was excellent. There was nothing new in it. Primarily a combination of fib work for price and time support and resistance, momentum indicators to show termination of a pullback and trend resuming at those levels, and market internals to verify the timing of the entry...

    Guru Dennis Bolze missing

Austin, I think that's exactly what it's about. This little fish person can't do it so it's important to him/her to find validation by having everyone else agree that no one else can either. Again it has nothing at all do to with this thread. Whether you make a fortune trading your own...

Welcome to my ignore list. I've actually never used it before but your posts are irrelevant and offensive.

What difference does it make if the success is at least partially from the percentages earned from managing OPM? It's still through successful trading. That's different than what we're talking about in this case; STEALING OPM.

    GBPCHF Projection or retracement target?

Has it been working for you? I'd think that would only apply to very specific circumstances. Anyway, I know that's not what this thread is about - just offering my 2 cents on targets.

    GBPCHF Projection or retracement target?

1.272 is the square root of 1.618, phi. I use it every day quite effectively on a variety of markets. How is 1.236 derived?

Firefox freezing problem vs. Internet Explorer security problems

I was having problems with my whole computer freezing up when using firefox or IE - just on occasion; it did seem to be flash related. I switched to Google's new browser, Chrome. No more issues and it's a really great browser too. Once in a great while I'll hit a site where it doesn't...

    Post your screen layout!

Yes I worked with them on adding some tools and getting a few kinks out. Just suggestions really, Carlos did the hard part. There are some links to videos I've done on their site, instructional stuff. Interesting to hear that IB data has been better than TS recently. I don't run TS...

Here's my current for intraday - longer term stuff on another monitor and perused occasionally with alarms set. Order entry on a separate dedicated machine.

What are you ER2 fellows doing...

Thank you, and I didn't mean to come across as snippy. It was just amusing to me since you had originally called me confused, when the source of my confusion is obvious. :) Mark

What are you ER2 fellows doing...

Wow, So a fee is listed, but you're not charged the fee if you're qualified to trade futures. And you can't get the data if you're not qualified. That's pretty circular. Given those criteria there would be no situation where you'd actually charge the fee! So then why list it in the...

What are you ER2 fellows doing...

JPasciolla, Thank you for the clarification. Since my only source of info on this was indeed the subscription page, I had no way of coming to the conclusion that people wouldn't be charged a fee which is clearly stated on your site. Not quite "confusion" on my part, but lack of presented...

What are you ER2 fellows doing...

Yeah it's no big deal at all - I just wanted to point out the discrepancy if they're telling Ray that they're giving it to us as part of the "free" package. Mark

What are you ER2 fellows doing...

Nope, Interactive Brokers apparently hasn't added the data for the index futures to their basic package - the same one we're getting the Globex data on. If you try to add the ICE contract to the quote list in their workstation, it tells you that you have to subscribe to the ICE/NYBOT data. I...

What are you ER2 fellows doing...

That's very interesting Raymack, thank you! I suggest offering it to Interactive Brokers too. Many retail traders either rely on them for charting data, or chart through one of the other vendors but still need the Interactive Broker quotes for order entry. MarkB
