I would imagine there was a lot of forced liquidation when we had the huge gap up a couple of weeks ago. Would be a lot more helpful if instead of increasing margin requirements, they would set account minimums to trade certain contracts.

I am also long some Oil stocks on TSX from about 2 weeks ago. This should be great for the position. The TSX energy index looks like its been putting in a bottoming formation since early August. This should be a the catalyst to send it flying.

I'm done with predicting what will happen with the big picture. Just playing the liquidity pops / smacks of the technical levels at this point. So news really does not matter to me. I'll leave the prediction to the experts and gurus, I'm just here to make some money every day.

Non of that changes the fact that we will see a rally of the 2894 LEVEL. Doesn't mean rally will reverse this new down trend. Just saying the over night sell off looks to be done for NOW. I am sure there will be more short opportunity in the RTH session.
