TT and CQG are best of the best in this business IMO, i wouldnt be renting office space for a $1000/month if i wasnt using one of those execution platforms...maybe i'm wrong though

What exactly do you mean by "5 markets"? I pay $625/month for TT at velocity for the CME exchange....that gets me all the products i need, i dont trade anything on ICE or Eurex...what about CQG, what are the monthly costs for that platform?

Take into account the Xtrader or CQG subscription also; that usually runs around $1000 to $1400/month...i'm assuming they pass that cost along to the trader

Ive been seeing a bunch of guys trading the ZT/2YR outright and spreading their risk off into the Eurodollars packs...maybe i'm missing something then?...haha...hope your doing well Mav

I'm trying to get started trading the STIR and Eurodollar Packs...how exactly do you bring up those quotes in Xtrader or CQG? Do you have to create each color pack in the spreader? I'm new to the Eurodollars, currently in the process of getting through the Burghardt and Aikin books, but I cant...

I'm assuming you're all bitching about the Xtrader v.7 Free platform...All you have to do is pay $625/month (for 1 exchange) and your commissions are back to $3.65 ES vs $6.65...doing the math, that comes to like 10 contracts per day vs the free TT to break even commission wise...if you cant do...

you ever use the 20 Min OR for pit session Crude or Natty? 8-8:20am CT OR. I've been listening to the traders audio Crude squawk the past two weeks and they always say the locals watch the 20 min OR and look to buy/sell a breakout of that range later in the session...Im not sure who the locals...

I give him about $5k/yr from staying at his Chicago hotel a few times a year. $600/night rooms, $15 martinis...way over priced but the service is always worth it. And I'm by no means a big spender at his place....$8B seems too high, but regardless he's got more money than everyone on ET...

Years ago I traded at a prop and this was exactly what we did (in stocks)....this does not work anymore IMO. When your trading futures (or any zero sum market) I think it still works to a certain point, but not to just front run these orders, but more or less to get some information on pivot...

interesting...I do have a trading system I use but I base my executions on the DOM...I still do think there is value in watching the tape and how it moves. If you ever trade a market overnight or when volume is very light/mid day, basically you just need to be sitting on your hands and waiting...

For those that trade CL using the tape….What type of size do you look for on the DOM during the trading day and how do you react to that? My basic question is, if you see a large order – lets say a 150 lot posted that is 5 cents away from the last – how do you react to that type of order...
