Only rely on pure price action when I trade EURUSD.

My NFP strategy is don't trade the NFP itself, several minutes before and several minutes after it. :)

Why spend $ on commissions, when you can trade w/o them? Especially makes sense if your trading frequency is relatively high (tens of trades every month).

Considering there are not many people who can consistently trade at all, any consistent trading profits = trader's success, IMO.

And yeah, I stay away from trading the big news like NFP. My most active trading time is around European opening (continental, then becomes even better when London joins). Only trade other time of day if see something truly great or just bored. :)

Not really, I am a big fan of pure price action trading.

OK, finished my trading this week. Posted an example of one of today's trades in the blog.

Chances are for some ugly chop until NFP. Slightly more than 20 pips session range so far, hilarious. But scalper can't complain on such a market. :p

Long stopped out break-even. Bounced off the hourly resistance level of 40.

Long @ 1.3636.

Took a profit of +9 pips on a long.

Long @ 1.3623.

Took a profit of +10 pips on a short.

What I don't like about low volatility like this is many opposing direction signals appear without much space for profit from previous.

Reversed to short @ 1.3633.
