I'm not dumb / new Lawrence. I've never traded or looked into ETFs. I wanted to know these simple question instead of piling through a tonne of pds just to get a simple question answered. People show up here all the time with basic questions about futures and I am the same regarding ETFs...

Todays pattern was a roughly -7 drop followed by a return to the opening level. It would have been a pretty sweet drop off resistance for support / resistance day traders.

U guys don't seem to understand.... By doing this it gives the OP / trader the option of adding more contracts, on both sides to the original hedge. So by doing this the original "fully hedged" trade can then have equal the amount of contracts added to it to make it more secure. For eg: if...

Oh Steven you bet me to this thread :(. Pretty exciting to hear that there is a Monday weekly option availavble. I just hope they do this with the Bund as well, however there isn't much traffic on the weekly bund options as is. Ah well. Looks like I'l be trading more often now. Thanks heaps...

This exactly why I don't like seeing people buy ES and hedge using SPY or SPX or something.

You want to run the fan as fast as possible, it is much easier to replace a fan than a new expensive GPU or CPU
