These guys were features in Trader Monthly. But the guy featured in the article, to my knoweldge wasn't ever a trader himself. The firm is made up of retail brokers who really aren't traders. I am speaking of the summit group, and their commodities brokerage Opportunities in Options. Look...
Are dual core cpus faster or not? Geez....its like asking some traders if they are profitable, come up with all kinds of good sounding reasons...but rarely answer the question
Yes....at least its a start, correct. I was wondering, though, who rates these programs? Only because its says something to the effect that..."Based on our most recent assessments, 72% of Federal programs are Performing."
If you think like this, you truly have no idea of the proper use of leverage. Trading at 20:1, for example, is like having 20 fishing hooks with worms on them in the stream. Odds are that one will get a bite, and you go over and pull the fish in. Odds are that the others will still have their...
Oh...of course you can transition from a back office job to trading, just like a person who works in a manhole can transition to trading. I just believe, when you have it in your gut, that is a whole lot of intuition pointing you in a direction. Get on the express train and see what its like...
If you want to trade, and you know it....
The payoffs for becoming a great trader are so very high. The younger you are, the less you risk in terms of opportunity cost to try (thats is, if you are not good or decide that actual trading is not your thing.)
If you need comfort, you might...
I am perhaps not as well versed in the specifics. It appears to me that you can collect sexual experiences directly, and pursue the release of that energy above all goals. At the ultimate extreme, this manner of acting leads to financial ruin.
It appears also to me that when a man begins to...
I have been trading since 1999. I have been a professional trader for each of those years. A trading plan is like an essay, its more powerful as you simplify it, and cut out the fat. Keep it as simple as possible, but not simpler.
I guess you still miss my point. I think I missed yours. If this is truly part of your strategy, then you would have accounted for this behavior when you tested it, and it wouldn't be such a surprise. Part of that behavior would be the questionable act by the market maker in a ridiculously...
Uh...I think the main point is you learned a $1000.00 dollar lesson on why its important to pick stocks that have some sort of liquidity. Even 100K shareas a day. But less that 1000 a day, or zero? Cmon.
Trading 101....trade stocks that are liquid enough for you to trade your strategy...
I paid my tax preparer extra my first year in trading (1999). I had a combination of 1099 income for capital gains/losses and K-1 income from my trading LLC.
It cost me less than $500.00 to do my taxes this year, and it seemed complex. BUT, I used that template for the following five and...
This is one benefit of joining an LLC for trading. You get a K-1 and year's end and don't have to detail this. All your trades are just listed as profit(loss) in a one column total, that the IRS accepts readily and easily.
Longhorns: apparently you are a representative of CNBC?
Why not just respond to the comments posted here, instead of redirecting. Are you not listening?
For the record, I do not watch CNBC. It doesn't help my trading, its a distraction. But for those who do watch it, apparently the ET...
My dad bought me one for my birthday a two or so years ago...Its awesome....he uses it everyday before tennis...and i use it to make protein shakes, salsa you name it.
