    Cost Matters...Ticket's VS Cent/sh

Did you also know that some brokers charge a ticket for ever different price you are filled on a single order. So say if you place a market order and get a different price on each lot of your 1000 share order, you will pay 10 tickets. What really hurts me is when I get price improvement, a...

    Cost Matters...Ticket's VS Cent/sh

When on a cent per share basis you never think about the number of tickets you generate. It is a great thing for the flexibility it provides and what it does for your bottom line if you trade a lot. 3X more net profit this month if I was on a penny a share deal + fees. Recently I resorted...

    Reverse positions with one order?

I know that I can "over cover" a short and be long the diff but my broker/whatever, doesn't allow "over selling" a long to go short. I guess a buy is a buy regardless but there must be a distiction between sell and a sell short.

    Scalper Wanna Be

Thanks for checking this. I have been trading a method that has a very poor risk/reward ratio and have recently realized that I have the skills/personality to change gears and scalp(I think this is scalping). Basically after somewhat of a precipitous rise/drop in price I look to make the...

    Help!!!...need fellow trader's opinions

I recently started proprietary trading and would love to know if I am getting a reasonable deal. I put no money down and am not held accountable for any losses. I get a strictly 60% payout and pay a ticket charge or $17.50 each way. I trade an average of 500 shares for 8 round trips a day. I...
