If intense heat or bitter cold are an issue where you live, its not necessarily overkill. Plus there is the food issue. Losing an entire fridge and chest freezer worth of food due to a prolonged power outage is a smelly, smelly, inconvenience.

If you insist on scalping for a few ticks I suggest you look into Market Delta software so you can at least get a good read on the orderflow. But personally, I dont think there is much of an edge available scalping futures for 1 or 2 ticks on globex no matter what software you use. The...
