WAR only makes stocks go up when...

If anyone's ever read Jesse Livermore's work, WAR makes stocks go up... BUT that only happens when US puts American soldier's boots onto the battleground! All this noise about Russia attacking Ukraine... Meaningless! Just look at what happened to Mr. Market post Beijing 2008 Summer...

    S&P 500 4468.00

Saw this coming a long time ago. 4444 is bad luck! Obviously Mr. Market not gonna stop going up at S&P500 4444 because that would be too obvious to most investors/traders! BUT stopping at S&P 4800 conveys the same message as 4468! (6 & 8 numbers are good luck in the East, 4800 means die...

    Tablet equivalent screen size?

Suppose someone was to get a tablet for trading. AND assuming the tablet has the same resolution as the laptop. Since tablets are held much closer to the face than a laptop. Has there ever been a study that said looking at a tablet of screen size X is equivalent to a laptop of screen size Y?

    The Stock Market is Bipolar

The stock market is bipolar. Right off the bat we have Mr. Market assumed the disguise of either a bull or a bear. Sooner everyone realize they're not dealing with A Mr. Market, but Mr. Markets with bipolar personality disorder, the sooner they can devise a strategy to tackle this problem...

    Laptop screen vs Desktop monitor

OK, so I am back on the Lenovo desktop monitor. I decided to leave the monitor hardware settings at factory default BUT tinkered a little bit on the software side via Intel GPU settings. If I dialed down contrast and gamma by one small increment to 49 (from 50) and 0.9 (from 1.0 for gamma)...

    Laptop screen vs Desktop monitor

BTW, they say that VA panels have the best contrast. For those preferring to work with charts with a black background, wouldn't it make more sense to use a VA panel (as opposed to IPS) for trading? Since VA panels supposedly display dark screens better...

    Laptop screen vs Desktop monitor

This thread isn't about why laptop screens are unsuitable for trading in terms of screen space. Obviously the desktop monitor would win out in screen real estate. BUT rather, thread is about looking at just one chart either on laptop or desktop monitor. This is my experience with a Dell...

    S&P 500 4468.00

Again today. S&P500 closes at 4448.08. 444 means die die die. And 8 is even luckier than 6 in the East. Feds keep giving signals stock market bull run ending/ended.

    S&P 500 4468.00

Alrite, so if anybody didn't get the first post... 4468 means "die die 6 and 8", or goodbye lucky numbers from the East. Don't know if any of u looked at S&P500 5 years chart, but we're effectively at the top of an inverse head&shoulder formation... The part where the formation sputters and...

    S&P 500 4468.00

I always thought S&P500 would go up to 4444 from March 2020 Covid-19 low and then falter. The reason being the stock market seems very Asian. Made a low of 666 in March 2009, which is a very lucky number in the East. Tokyo Olympics just concluded, and 4444 possibly the most unluckiest number...

Chinese multinational companies are having logistics problems running their businesses abroad

Nope. Chinese government and ppl don't consider Lenovo a Chinese company. The founder/CEO is widely considered a race traitor in China. His daughter is the head of Didi and worked at/with Goldman Sachs to push the Didi IPO thru at the objection of the CCP. So imagine the repercussion back to...

Chinese multinational companies are having logistics problems running their businesses abroad

You got one thing right tho. China Communist Party doesn't care about companies like Lenovo. I heard the founder of Lenovo is considered a race traitor in China. And his daughter did the IPO for Didi that CCP tried ever so hard to shut down. So nope, Lenovo is definitely not a "Chinese" company.

LAPTOP- Off the Shelf for Trading- preferably 15 inch Max

Dells are pretty horrible. I bought a top tier business model from them. Keys started coming off after 6 months to a year. Had to keep them taped to the surrounding keys ever since. So, I got mad and went Fujitsu instead. Fujitsu had an American branch that sold laptops made in Japan. This...
