The interface is quite easy to use. Make sure you utilize the hot keys. Also, make sure you WIRE your money to them. They hold checks for 15 Days and you can't trade during that time.

I believe commissions really take a bite out of a person's trading profits. I believe if there were no commissions, some break-even traders would make a considerable amount of money. And the learning curve for new traders with improve. I like to gauge the commission to profit ratio.

You can short as much as you can buy. You have to be careful because you may lose your 4:1 margin if the stock goes against you and you have less than 25k.
