    ALL I am saying is that bids get pulled in the pits too. This argument that the pit is ALWAYS there to provide liquidity is ridiculous.

    IMHO, the key is holding both overnight. That atleast allows you to hedge most of the market risk.

    If the spoos pit is always there to provide liquidity, what happened to Soro's order on Thurs morning 10/22/87. The screen is not the only place the bids get pulled.

    P/Es are still lofty. Div yield is very low by historical standards. Somehow this has to work itself out. Either earnings have to increase or prices have to come down. Given the economy I think the later is alot more likely. just my .02

    Maybe, but I am very cautious of the semi's breaking support at 280. I think that is a big line in the sand, either they hold or they don't. It will definitely be interesting.

    Yep, good article. Well said. The Eurex may take the chicago boys to the wood shed. You would think they(CBOT/CME) would take a look at the CBOE and figure it out, but I guess not.:confused:
