You're correct about the "reasonable salary" but to define that without reading 100 court cases is pretty tough. Also keep in mind that ordinary income from S-corps increases your basis, which helps distributions to be treated as return of capital.

A single member LLC by itself is not what an independent trader wants. You want an SMLLC that elects to be taxed as an S-corp. Ok, I know what you're talking about now. Those features are not in LVP, perhaps because you cannot execute in there (not sure). In LVX, there is significant what-if functionality.

Can you be more specific? I only used LVP for a month and use LVX now. Also, I confirmed with Livevol that exchange rebates are passed on.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Both are pretty expensive, but it seems like a solid investment and unless I'm mistaken, Larry has an excellent reputation.

i didn't execute, but i tested how many legs you can do in the complex order ticket. not sure why they let you put in 8 legs when exchanges limit you to 4 like you said. i'm sure they have a reason though.

there's no commission detail in LVX. but i can check my statements and see that certain trades cost me half of what they were supposed to. as far as i know execution is pass-through.

baywolf- what if i told you i made a trade that should have cost me 26 bucks but i was only charged 18? does that mean livevol passed the rebate to me? or is there another explanation?
