61% of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck

Completely false. If you read enough financial news, you'll know a lot of corporate profits have been squeezed by inflation. Also look at the market crumble under the weight of inflation. You trade any SPY or QQQ?

61% of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck

Being rich or wealthy has nothing to do with rich parents. We Americans like to spend. And like to gamble too. Trading is like gambling and we all love doing it. For people who retire early, trading stocks is an enjoyment. But for people who quit their $50,000 job, trading meme stock as...

What would you consider the minimum Account Balance to trade Commodity Futures?

A smart person entering Las Vegas casino has a plan. He has a total of $2,000 to lose for his 3-day trip. He puts that cash in his pocket and leaves all his credit and debit cards at hotel. If he is lucky to win another $2,000, he may just put on a big bet of $1,000 etc. Then he may lose all...

61% of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck

It is not that so simple. Education is not the main issue. You do not need parent of high school to each you that you need to earn $100 to buy a pair of sneakers. And if you save $50 a week, you'll get $200 by end of the month. And we all know that a restaurant waiter or waitress can easily...

61% of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck

I bet it is more than 80% of American people. Most of us need our checks too since we do not keep much cash in our banks. And I believe 80% of Americans only control about 15% of total US wealth....

Anyone Bottom Fishing Buying SOXL with Me?

Swing trading offers far better freedom than day trading. With a 2% stop loss (in another thread), you'll have to keep a tiny position if you day trade SOXL. No matter how we trade, before I send the order, always get a plan and know why you make that trade. A $10 gain is still good even if...

    2% stop loss rule?

It is just a waste of time talking the way each trader puts the stop. Or the money management rules. Everyone trades differently. This is not the trading class that each student has the same trade. Even with that, each student does his or her own thing. There is no right or wrong.

    2% stop loss rule?

So you are bullish with NQ to start. Long one (or the micro MNQ) at 14,555. Then it drops to 14,550 in 5 minutes. So you are "wrong". I guess you'll unwind and get out right away with a 5 points loss? Sure it is a $100 loss or a $10 with the MNQ.

    2% stop loss rule?

Dude, so you never heard of any like Goldman Sachs Conviction Buy List? Take a look and learn. Very disappointed by the ET crowd. Should be a group of expert traders.... Goldman's Sachs' (NYSE: GS) Conviction Buy List is a listing of stocks the investment bank's research team expects to...

List of personal rules for trading that makes U successful

I still remember the day when I entered SOXL at $33.88. And several ET members produced nice charts to show me that, do not catch the falling knife..... Nice. I'm not saying that they were wrong. But I've heard of such rule for more than 20 years. Trading rules are not hard set rules. Or...

    2% stop loss rule?

People will never agree on the stop levels. There are so many factors relating to the trade management. For a pure day trader, the % of capital rule matters. You sure can set 2% capital aggregation as your true stop. But someone scalping only. The other guy trades MSFT. The 3rd guy...

Sold some for rotation purpose. Still hold some for my target. This is a good example of swing trading. To me, it is easier than day trading.

Cathie Wood ARK Stays the Course, Betting Big on Innovation

ARK is a one time phenomenon when that market segment works or worked. Some managers could have made 300% return betting on meme stocks. Look back at the dot com #1. Same. Also look back at Bill Miller at Legg Mason. He was a legendary for beating S&P about 12 years in a roll. But he never...
