How many trades per day, per week or per month?

Between in 1999-2001, I averaged 200 trades per day. Now, it's considerably less.

Waggie: You're not smart enough. The reason we are fighting this war is because Iraq is a potential threat to a little friend of ours in the Mid-East. Who in the right mind would believe Iraq is a threat to US? How about democracy in North Korea? Isn't that worth fighting for? In...

If you are worried about taxes, goto New Hampshire. Zero state income tax and zero sales tax. None of that tangible, intangible stuff of FL. NH ranks dead last among all 50 states in per capita tax. Living in NH was great during the Internet bubble years. :)

That "typical" FL house is listed at $3,200,000. With that kind of money, you can buy some amazing stuff in SoCal. In Florida, you have to endure the humidity, the mosquitos, and T-storms. Unless you have to work there, it's just not worth it.

According to DQ, So Cal homes went up by 20.2% in Feb, while Bay Area homes went up by 13.4%. The faster rate of appreciation in So Cal has been observed since 2001. Looks like the sector rotation continues. Pretty soon, we will catch up to the Bay Area price level. :p

Don't forget about quake insurance if you choose to buy a house in the Bay Area... I don't believe there is any major fault line in coastal San Diego and Orange County. Correct me if I am wrong.

MADRID, Spain - Spain's new leader intensified his criticism of the U.S.-led occupation of Iraq on Wednesday, saying it was "turning into a fiasco." Prime Minister-elect Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero also refused to reconsider his pledge to pull his 1,300 troops out of Iraq by June 30, in a...

The price appreciation in Corona is amazing. But that's what's happening in the entire Riverside County. People are now realizing RC is the last affordable area in Southern CA before going into the high deserts. Increasing at over 30%, it won't be affordable for very long. TraderC

Fair enough, not everyone can move wherever they want. Most people have to stay where their jobs are. That said, there are enough mobile people out there who can make a big difference in the housing market. First of all, if you are a trader making money, like myself, you should be able to...

Some of the nicest coastal places in Southern California are: Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Carlsbad, and Del Mar. If they are too expensive, try these places: Santa Ana, Lake Forest, Oceanside, and Escondido. If these are still too pricey, try futher inland, or head East!

Two reasons why I think Southern CA real estate may eventually catch up with, or even exceed Bay Area price level: 1) better weather -- who doesn't like better weather? 2) better economy -- who doesn't like better economy? The current price action supports this trend. The rise in...
