this is very easy to do if you know how to do "scale - in/order replacements" ---- if you know how to do this then there is the ability to move with the price action. you never know when a top is in place until after the fact so your strategy has to have a way to properly adjust to the price...

if you want to trade the ES the only way to go imo is to learn "market profile" --- then you can intra-day trade at first and then add swing trading in the future as you learn the methodology.

no --- i would have a TS "matrix" up on my LCD and an XTrader DOM ---- i enter a trade on both platforms at the same price at the same time. then i place a cover order a few ticks from price on the TS matrix FIRST --- now i go right over to the XTrader DOM and place the same "limit" cover order...
