They are registered as a Jamaican securities firm and not with the NASD or any North American Exchange. Their website says it's not geared to clients from the U.S. I doubt very much that you'd have any recourse if they closed up and kept everyone's money. Beware.

They can't pay you if you don't have a securities license. Don't do it just because you are a good friend. If things turn south that will change. If they want to have money invested with your input, apply for a tax id, pool yours and your friend's money to start an investment club.

Would you join a prop firm owned by the firm they clear through? I'm talking about Echotrade who is owned by PAX Clearing. I recall Don Bright saying not to join a firm that was a sub llc or not willing to give you financials.

You'll be playing poker with the best card sharks ever in a game that favors the house. Institutions, market makers, specialist, arbs, etc......what they have that the little guy does not are very very deep pockets. They can afford to be wrong or on the wrong side of the market for much longer...

Try the NYSE website. There are only like 7 firms that specialize. La Branche, Spear Leads, Van Der Moolen to name a few.
