Yes, but if it is a trading pc only wouldn't you rather it not be loaded up with all the ather programs and what not? They don't skimp on hardware (no graphics cards though). My trading pc runs excel, execution and charting only.

There are different types of stops. Limit if touched,market if touched etc. It depends on your platform.

You will get filled immediately if you are selling the bid or buying the offer, it will fill the moment you click the dom, I meant if you are buying at the bid and the bid is 1300, price would need to trade to 1299.75 for a fill, and just the opposite for a short.

in the es you would need it to trade through your limit order most of the time (unless you are one of the first 100 or so) to get a fill in the real market.

You would need a better motherboard and more than one graphics card probably but there is a MicroCenter store that has really great deals but only if you buy at the store itself. I think there is a MicroCenter in Danville. Also, I think MC has a section dedicated to helping builders. Chris

I only trade futures.......X_Trader for execution, IQ Feed for data and I R/T for charting. Somebody mentioned CTS T4, I plan on trying it at some time, I have heard good things and I know they are working on an auto spreader.
