    Does anyone know if IB or Datek or Ameritrade or ETrade or any of the other retail firms are pushing for a repeal of the PDT rules? Is there any sort of special interest group :) who is lobbying for an end to these ridiculous rules?

    I have roughly 30,000 in my IB stock margin account. I actively trade stocks, 5 round-trips a day at least. If my account were to fall below 25K would it be 'frozen' for 90 days?
