Good Answer, We all look for perfection ,but i don't believe it exists in trading. (I trade xauusd) I wont change my trading strategy, and i wont experiment with other concepts, but as time permits i do look for any further confirmation to give me more to my trading edge.

Why would you (constantly be looking and discovering new stuff) if your proven strategy is working just fine? I find my strategy takes up my 5 focused hours a day, without experimenting with other concepts.

On my platform ,as most, Tick data is just a count down, 200 if I'm using t200 chart -500 ticks /trades on the T 500 chart and so on, to the next opening bar, the only information i can gain is in volatile periods the count down to the next tick bar is quicker, which is not much interest to me...

I don't trade futures ,spreads, ladders ,just spot long/short on pattern recognition. Not sure when you say (bid all combinations; offer all combinations. I think its the lease rate)
