    Iterative Refinement

Some thoughts on how to avoid reversing too early. (As I prepared this, I was falling behind on annotating the last few bars, so anything after about 14:00 is incomplete.) Hopefully my MADA is appropriate as presented on the chart. Edit: I also neglected to annotate the steeper pink...

If I am instructed to turn off the simulator and go back to Boot Camp for my 20-60 charts, I will certainly do so...

I'll post my chart and blotter for the morning in hopes of providing inspiration for gravitonium77 and others who are frustrated. I can understand gravitonium's emoional state since I've had moments of doubt myself. I've been working on this since day 1 of the Futures Journal and I've had some...

    Iterative Refinement

I apologize. When I trade from home I usually put the Bar numbers in the Volume pane but I didn't plan to post my Chart today. I will repost the charts with Bar #s at each of my entry/reversal/exit points:

    Iterative Refinement

Thank you, this response led me to another Aha. Several weeks ago, I had a big Aha: I came to the realization that my Monitoring of the Channel level has been deficient since day 1. So I've been focusing on Channels and their relationship to Traverses. I was at work today, so my...

This is exactly what I'm saying. The dark blue Traverse is made up of Tapes, not Traverses. But the light blue (aqua) Channel is made up of Traverses. Or am I missing something?

Notice how Spydertrader's light blue (aqua) line is thicker than the dark blue line. I interpret the relative thickness of his lines to indicate that he, too, sees the light blue (aqua) lines as a Channel and the dark blue lines as a Traverse. The dark blue Traverse is formed by Tapes, not...

    Iterative Refinement

Hi romanus, My understanding is that an up Channel is formed in one of only two possible ways: 1. A dominant up Traverse is followed by a non-dominant down Traverse, which is then followed by a dominant up Traverse; or, 2. A dominant up Traverse is followed by a non-dominant lateral...
