    ES....Inverse Head & Shoulder Pattern

A pattern isn't data. Data would be the statistical success rate that pattern succeeds and fails. Even that would be subjective to the fact that it would need to span over different time frames and over X amount of time.

    ES....Inverse Head & Shoulder Pattern

I'm up almost 100 points on the ES today, but it certainly isn't from following a silly pattern. If all of your trades are based on patterns you're destined to fail.

    ES....Inverse Head & Shoulder Pattern

The thing about H&S and Inverse H&S is they could just as easily turn into a double bottom or double top and reverse back the other way. If it were a way as a pattern being a certainty then everyone would be rich.

An emergency rate cut Elizabeth Warren wants...absolutely hilarious

It's because we're the world reserve currency. This is why it was so idiotic of Biden to seize $300 Billion USD from Russia. Other country's see this and think what's to stop us from doing it to them. These country's divest their USD and it becomes this huge bloat of USD supply abd that...

Another article on it wrote this, which could actually be a bit savvy if it is her plan

never had i thought slippag3 would be a huge issue in trading ES

The vast majority of my entries are made with stop markets. I could probably get cute and enter with limits on a pullback, but the amount of slippage is negligent to missing out on the trade completely if it doesn't pullback.

It depends on the time frame. A 35% move of a given range on a 5 minute chart isn't much. Let's say it ranges in a $3 range, between the price points of $432 and $435. You buy in at $432 and exit at 35% of $3 which is $433.05.

Pretty close to a Fibonacci retracement line that gets hit a lot (38.20%).

Twice it has tried to break back into that $65 resistance. Once on the big red candle just after July 30, and the 2nd on the hangman candle 3rd from last. I predict one more attempt very soon before continuing back down, but that's just at a quick glance so who knows. Also, look at the volume...

From a technical pov, that's on it's way down. Broke a major support. It's retracing some before continuing down. From a fundamental pov, Reddit is a failed business model. They are a highly ideological site in terms of politics. Much if their user base are hardcore Leftists to the point of...

New member just wants to say "Hi"

Ideally, if you can master these you will have won 75% of the battle. I would add, rather than studying Elliot Wave Theory, which as Taowave mentioned is highly subjective, and would probably elicit five different interpretations from five different followers, focus on studying charts. Study...

Well you learned an old saying. "The markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent."

never had i thought slippag3 would be a huge issue in trading ES

ES Futures are a bit extreme starting out. Why not start out with MES Futures (Micros) where a tick is $1.25 and a point is $5?

The Three levels of chart reading proficiency.

Within a bounded system, that is correct. If you create a system that reacts a certain way to price action on one time frame with a high probability of success, that same probability of success may not exist on a different time frame.

The Three levels of chart reading proficiency.

Not only that, but some systems that work in one time frame fail in others. One would think that all time frames are bound by the same movements, and thus the same principles, but that is categorically false.

How much will the rate cut be?

Market at all time highs. Real Estate at all time highs. Inflation seems to be lower but CPI still high af. Also don't want to cut too fast. I see 25 basis point cut.

Nvda is the only thing you need to know for this week!!

Better yet, the actual buy is in the run up to Wednesday morning as it continues to already price in. Then when it comes out good the hedge funds will dump as retails pile in.
