I agree with Trend Fader, Stock Watch Pro is the software to go with. You don't really need any programming experience and even if you have trouble creating strategies, you can always e-mail them, they are usually right on top of things.

I've been using it with QCharts Basic all along and it works fine. I understand that it costs more this way but it's still well worth the price. And I keep hearing rumors about offering Esignal as another data feed...

SHORTY, I'm using stockwatchpro. It has real time scanner for unlimited number of symbols (can scan EOD as well), formula language, fib retracements, very flexible charts, backtesting. The look-and-feel is the same as in Qcharts plus they have some really neat stuff. You can plot 1, 3, 5...
