    Better Web Browser...?

Being a long time Netscape fan, all the hiccups and problems since version 4.7 made me look for other options a few years back. Opera was scarcely known at the time but I still continued following it's development. Today it's pretty impressive. However, after Mozilla came out (a project I was...

    Daytrading Without Stops

One good lesson from this short article is something I try to tell all newbies. Always look at the price in the range of your trade, don't bother with how much you [i]could have[/] made if you stayed with the position. Forget about it, move on to the next opportunity. TM Trader

bubba7, Though I do agree we what you are writing... Always-in-the-market systems are very different from day trading, they have different principals and different rules. Therefore, comparing Always-in-the-market system principals to day trading strategies is basically wrong. TM Trader

I know he ran the tests many times, something like 60 or 80 times (since the entry is random each one suppose to perform a different way) but the results were surprisingly consistent, around 38% if I remember correctly. One of the principles was to enter only...

Who Can Stop the Lakers next year?

Yes, the only one who can stop the Lakers is the Lakers themselves. That is if Koby Briant stays out of jail....

    Daytrading Without Stops

I know about someone who backtested a random entry system that had a 1 pt stop-loss and 3 pt target and some other basic parameters. It had 38% success which meant it made money. I don't know of anyone who uses such a system. I certainly would not. TM Trader

So you will only blow your account slower. Basing a system on lunch time whipsaws is not a good idea.

    Daytrading Without Stops

This is very true. Risk management is what makes trading profitable, if you can't take a risk of losing less than what there is to gain, how exactly are you ensuring that you will make money at the end of the day, or the end of the week?

    Volume problems with IB today

I didn't have any of the problems you are mentioning, just the volume problem. Their rep told me I need to upgrade though I highly doubt it that this is the real problem.
