And their commissions are $1.82/side + fees for low volume and $1.13/side + fees for high volume. Thats $5.96 or $4.58 per e-mini round trip all in. For high volume they need to get into the 40 to 70 cents per side + fees range to be competitive. $1.13 isn't.

After this morning's snafu (Eurex opened 2 hours late due to problems), I'm no longer "thoroughly pleased".

Fixed platform cost, yes, but commission cost is very relevant to a high volume trader. And different platforms are offered by different IB's with different commissions.

I'm thoroughly pleased with both the Eurex and a/c/e platforms. Unsubstantiated insults makes it sound like you work for a competitor platform.
