I'm still waiting for you to explain how the preferred is dilutive.

Dilution - Dilution - Dilution! Government gets warrants in C!

For your reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stock_dilution The issue was not whether the warrants are dilutive. Clearly, they are. The issue was whether the $20B preferred was dilutive. Since they apparently are not convertible preferred shares, I still argue they are not dilutive.

Dilution - Dilution - Dilution! Government gets warrants in C!

Well, its late and I really don't want to debate the issue, but if a company sells $20B worth of preferred stock and receives $20B in cash, that in effect, is a wash. $20B in new assets, and $20B of new liabilities. So, tell me, specifically how has the value of the common stock been diluted?
  15. W

Dilution - Dilution - Dilution! Government gets warrants in C!

Wrong. Govt. gets warrants for 10% of the $27B of preferred stock, ie. $2.7B worth of common stock warrants, not 10% of the entire company. Also, if a company receives $20B and issues $20B of preferred stock, that is not dilutive.

why not pass a bill outlawing foreclosures for a period

Not exactly. The mortgagor (land owner) still had to pay to the lender the reasonable rental value of the property, in or toward the payment of taxes, insurance, interest, and mortgage indebtedness. Further, the statute in question was a moratorium on foreclosures, not an outright...

    Stay away from IB!!!

Well, if your risk management is so great then why require $6188 per ES contract for day trading? Do you really think a customer is going to lose more than 120 ES points per contract in a day? Especially considering as you say, if a client is deficient you liquidate immediately.
