    It all depends on your setup. But a 4 point stop is often very tight, it could be compared to a 2-3 tick stop on ES. I am not implying that you cannot trade the DAX profitably with a 4 point stop in certain market conditions. But you will have to make near perfect entries and then let it run...

    anyone use ninjatrader for TWS?

    I installed it yesterday without problems and it seems to run stable. Functionality is the best I have seen so far (compared to Bracket Trader, AutoTrader or Futures-Trader). Good manual on the website, too. I will use it for trading ES and EuroSTOXX50 (ESTX50).

    I agree. These volume spikes are not "real" because they do not affect the price. This week is expiration (friday) which might be the reason for the more frequent unreal prints. I guess they have something to do with rolling contracts.

    I think the main difference between European and US markets is the absence of different electronic platforms in one country. In Germany you trade electronically over Xetra. Some cities have floors, but i think 90% of the volume of DAX stocks are traded over Xetra. So no hassle with market makers...

    I thought my realtime chart had a few ticks out of line....now I am relieved that my feed isn't so bad after all, but it screwed up my chart and someone's account. A scary thing....:eek:
