    Coffee

It's amazing to think that the highest price Silver ever reached was 41 years ago. (Higher in nominal terms than the peak in 2011, and much higher when adjusted for inflation.) https://www.macrotrends.net/1470/historical-silver-prices-100-year-chart

How low do you think Bitcoin could go between now and the end of 2025?

I haven't included $0 because below $100 may as well be zero. :D

How high do you think Bitcoin could go before the end of 2025?

Just curious as to what people are expecting/hoping for.

    Leveraged Gold Producers

I prefer to leverage the metal itself (2x or 3x gold ETF). Silver often acts as a leveraged play on gold. PMs have disappointed many times over the past 10 years but maybe this time is different.

Elon Musk Tweets Become Top Crypto Influencer

He says he has Aspergers. Probably only a matter of time before he becomes a trans-woman, non-binary or gender fluid or whatever the latest trend is.

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

M4-1 Do you know nysestocks, or maybe you are nysestocks? Or are you another member of TFF? How certain are you that your understanding of the "obvious" is the same as what nysestocks was alluding to in the opening post? Thanks! Ed

    Bitcoin has topped.

To me Bitcoin is mostly a speculative phenomenon. I'm sure a lot of people who bought it just see it as a chance to get rich quick (and obviously many have). A bit like the lottery but with much better odds. This may explain why price action is more like a penny stock than something with a...

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Even if we don't know exactly what the obvious is, maybe just doing BHASH/SLABL trades might be a step in the right direction? Psychologically it can't be easy though; buying when price has already gone up, or shorting when price has already gone down. Do many traders do this?

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

He/she elaborates a bit further here: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/why-is-the-obvious-not-so-obvious.151802/page-22#post-2345712 Did anyone figure out the answer?

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Just to be clear, by "you" I wasn't referring to M4-1. This was a question for everyone else. Shame I can't add a Poll, but you can just reply A, B or C if you like.

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Maybe I'm a bit thick but when I hear a lot of traders describe how they actually trade, most of it just goes over my head. So, maybe you can help me out? If you strip it down to its bare bones, would you say your approach to trading essentially boils down to: A) trying to identify tops and...

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Something I tried a while ago was printing out historical line charts, of daily closing price, for stocks, spanning several months. I picked stocks which moved quite a lot*. (I haven't got the time for intra-day trading, so using a chart of daily closing price and holding for a few days or...

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

A few guesses for the obvious pre-requisite to success: a) You have to know what you're actually doing. (How many embark on this pursuit not really having the first clue how to take money from the market?) b) You have to use a proven approach. (No amount of risk management and position...

Does crypto pose a threat to Governments/central banks?

The current crypto market has a total capitalization of just over $2 trillion, of which BTC accounts for half ($1 trillion). If it went up another 10-fold it would equal US GDP ($20 trillion). If it went up 20-fold it would equal the size of the entire US stock market ($40 trillion). I...

Does crypto pose a threat to Governments/central banks?

I don't know the answer which is why I'm asking. I've heard central bankers and finance ministers criticising crypto and warning people about the risks of investing in it. But I haven't heard any acknowledge, in public, that it poses an actual risk to their financial systems. If the crypto...

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Low Risk x AO = Easy Money Haven't worked out what AO is yet. Just to clarify, it's LR times AO, right?

Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

The OP said "all a trader has to do to make money in any market is BLASH or SHABL" The obvious pre-requisite, therefore, is knowing how to do this correctly?
