IN THIS THREAD: IronFist learns (the elusive) PRICE ACTION

OK, I will bite - When has enough buying happened to bring in sellers? How do you know? The only way I can tell is by watching the momentum of price on the chart. The bars can tell you also but I also look at how fast they print. I am sure you could take it back to them DOM but my...

I am going to share what seems to work for me most consistently. It is very simple and although I am constantly trying to learn more I always end up coming back to this because it is simple and seems to work. I will say that I also use SPM discussed elsewhere on this board but this is a thread...

Not sure if he was trying to be helpful or not. If not, it's another useless contribution to a thread that could be helpful to those who read it by someone that "Might" know what they are talking about. We will never know because they will speak in riddles and mystery and tell you that one...

I draw a crap load of lines, will it work?

\ Doesn't 233 tick ES move way to quick to keep up w/trendlines and make decisions on the fly?

You think it’s a buyer’s market for new cars? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

I agree, I think they are over priced for what they are. I drive a Yukon which is actually a little more expensive then the Tahoe's but I bought it a couple of years old and 26,000 miles on it and saved quite a bit. If I had plenty of money I might buy a new one. My wife just bought a...

Come to Texas. You can get a new Tahoe loaded sticker price of 46K w/6000 off of that.

List of THE BEST TRADING BOOKS (add your favorites!!!)

I think it's funny that some of those who already "Supposedly" know how to trade are so outspoken when those who are trying to learn ask about certain things. 1. What are good books on trading? Books are good for ash trays blah blah... 2. What are good indicators? You don't need...

Ah Mandel, I thought it was going well for a while. We were going well for a while then you get people telling him he is way off and it will be years etc... etc... when I was hoping discussion of PA would continue. I don't think trading true PA is something that can be diluted...

Iron, You might take a look at 10,000 CV bars also to see if you like them better. I usually use 2 minute charts but when they look choppy 10,000 CV bars tend to help. Paul

I think it was stated that some are entering on pull backs and others are entering on a touch of the trendline while others are using "Traders Trick Entry" It's discussed w/a link on about the 2nd page I think.

Like OHLC S/R lines? Would you consider bar patterns as well? What else?

Today is not a good day for me. I can't draw a trend line to save my life and it seems really choppy. I'm using 2m chart on ES. Paul

Why would the Goverment just not....

Lower or eliminate income tax for 6 months? That would give everyone at least a 20% raise and more then that for others. People would spend money, invest and save. It would probably cost the same or less than the money that has been spent trying to fix the economy already.

There were trends today they were just smaller than you might expect. Drawing trendlines I have also been drawing horizontal S/R lines as soon as I see the movement start to go sideways and it looks like there was previous S/R. Once this is broken a trade in the direction of the break worked...

Your saying that if a line is pierced a little don't think that its a reversal or that it cold be starting a reversal or just use our best judgement? Sorry, I read your post but I think there was a typo and it doesn't make sense to me. Paul

IN THIS THREAD: IronFist learns (the elusive) PRICE ACTION

Today was a great day it seemed for trends. I paper traded w/no indicators and I took 7 trades at 4 contracts per trade and $1950 total. I waited for pull backs and drew trend lines where I thought they should be. I also drew horizontal S/R lines and when price broke above these I took...
