I was confused myself for a bit. I thought I had an up channel then the 12:45 bar happened. "Oh, R2R + RTLbo." Wrong. Once I finally realized that I was too zoomed in and moved my PT3 to the 12:50 bar, I was able to get in a place where the 13:10 move was clearly visible.

The price of ninjatrader depends on who you get it from and what you use it for. Sim verison is free. Live version is usually either $50/mo or free depending on your broker. I believe Spy uses their software for its DOM and order entry. Attached is a pic of the DOM.
