I was looking at Orc for automatic spread quoting. Fees of 20K/M can be done if the software is as advertised.

I need a solution for options as well as listed stocks. Is there a plan for Orc or Actant to allow automated trading access to NYSE or Nasdaq stocks?

IBD is top quality as far as financial news IMO. I think it depends on where we are in the bullish cycle. At the beginning stages of the new bullish cycle you can find some great stocks and ride them for a while. On the other hand at or near the end of the bullish cycle it isn't as effective.

Has anybody done a study on shorting the top ten stocks on the IBD 100. It seems to me that when a stock makes it to the top ten spot ... its a contrary indicator. I did it with bidu, rimm, pcln and pot.

Looking to buy some AIG down here for a bounce ... also in accumulation mode in UYG for the long term. Anybody else?

I'm curious to find out if anyone else has held on to a covered call strategy this year. I have and I've stayed consistent writing calls on etf's as well as certain individual stocks. What are your conclusions?

YM and ES are highly correlated and thus trading system that depend on that correlation should do work.

Don't forget ETF's like the QQQQ, SPY, IWM etc. If you're going to be actively writing calls you'll need a liquid options market with tight bid-ask spreads.

My strategy is to be long the stock and short otm calls to take advantage of the high implied vols.

I bought UYG a couple days ago. I'm feeling good about the price 9 to 12 months from now. There's a good possiblity of a snap back rally.

URE is especially getting ripe for a position. If we find that this recession is shallow, and mortgage companies start lending again ... URE could double.

DRYS has been going down but its time to buy DRYS again. A close above 85 will get me excited. We may be getting ready for another run toward 100.

Bought back those options that I sold a couple days ago. LEH is looking like it's going lower.
