TOP suspended - let's say it stays this way for a couple of months, what about borrow fees?

Yeah, this happened to me a few years back in one of these momo stocks. I paid like $13k in borrow fees over a few months for only 200 shares.

Hey all, it's been a while because this style of trading doesn't work in the market we've had lately. I've really tightened up over the past months, trying to play safe...but always on the lookout for the big ramp days like we had Thursday. It finally hit, and I played it well for about $300k...

Hey guys, sorry I've been mia since trading has slowed down so much. We've gone from a great trading market to nearly untradeable (for this style). I spend a lot of my time now looking at other ideas for slower markets.

It depends on the setup, but Noah above is correct. The one caveat is if I'm in NDX or SPX which cash settle...I will leave some of those for the closing print.

    Yes, defined risk.

For this type of trading I'm doing, the risk of selling early is greater than the risk of loss. I do try to sell around 1/4-1/3rd of the position once there's a decent profit, but the rest has to run no matter what happens.

Everyday expirations coming to the SPX

For those of us that trade these everyday this news is huge.

Everyday expirations coming to the SPX

That's nothing, there were multiple 30x to 50x+ opportunities in SPX/NDX lately.

Wed and Fri were both moderate losers in the $20-35k range. Friday the calls started to print around 3p, I was +$70k and took off a little...then everything collapsed.

Tuesday's are my slowest day of the week because there's nowhere to find the r:r I want. Thursdays are at least near the end of the week so I can trade 1dte on individual stocks. Monday/Wed are dedicated to index/etf 0dte. Friday I will trade everything since it's all 0dte.

Thanks for the info, it's easy enough for me to calculate the end result without the SRM.

Another great day, I love when a plan comes together. Lightspeed doesn't mark open index options correctly at the close (cash settlement), but those are worth $49k plus the closed +$59k is around $108k for the day. There aren't any 0dte for me tomorrow so not much to do now until Wed.

Same setup as Monday, looking for the all day or late day rally. I screwed up the AMZN trade that would have paid $100k+ by selling the late day dip. They got me on that one, but still a great day. I'll be playing the same way all next week. If I'm wrong I lose $20-30k, when right $100-200k.
