Not that it helps much now, but here is a link to the SIPC about brokerage fraud. They don't help in this case, but there is some info. And a link to IB's Secure Transaction Program. They give you a identity device that would have stopped this fraud. Seems like IB is always a little ahead...

I don't know if it is a good trade or not, but you do know that you will be obligated to buy GOOG at $270 if your short put is assigned. Even if it gets slammed down to $135 on some hidden horror story? Swallowing a $5K-$10K loss or whatever will take the shine right out of that 500 bucks...

I'd say the answer would be "no". The purchaser of a naked long call option is not limiting his downside, only his total dollar amount loss when compared with 100 shares (or whatever) of stock. Sheesh! How do you say "yes" or "no" to option questions! :D

Strange that it wouldn't have been refreshed by now... But clearing the IE temporary "cache" should do it. Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files. If you tried this already and it doesn't work, you could have some spyware crap jacking your system.
