Panama bank "CD 1 year" interest 9.5% ?

No recognized banks in Panama offer 9.5% for a one year CD. I have a 3 year CD giving me 6.5% with Banco Uno, thats about as much risk as I would accept here.

    If you could live anywhere

I do not know when Saxon22 was last here but since I arrived four years ago, Panama has changed, people are more wealthy, progress is been made in all areas. Tourism is doubling every year, they are building new hotels to cope with the influx. Somebody likes it here.

Prop firms that offer remote futures trading?

They will ask you to supply your own membership, I am sure you cannot trade through theirs and benifit from the cheaper fees, unless you are trading thier funds, not your own. If you trade at least 50 rt a day you will be eligible to apply for the CME Electronic, membership yourself...

Yes you can trade through QT, you will have to ask Just2Trade for three files which you have to place in the QT file directory. I do not see where you can place a stop loss at the same time you place a trade though.

Yes, but these finance houses also have retail traders trading through them, and as far as I know, there is no ¨watermark¨identifying who actually placed the trade, only that it came from a particular broker. Spoozetop; sorry to sound like I am flogging a dead horse, but I do find it...

Thats pretty obvious considering its size compared to the ES. This has got nothing to do with manipulation.

Your saying the ¨house¨is fixing the game, marking the cards, weighting the dice etc. They don´t have to, they have the edge. There are so many lines in the sand in this game and there are always Paradigm Shifts changing these lines. You just have to adjust to it and don´t complicate it...

I know that governments try to manipulate markets, especially currency markets, and its generally futile. I understand that, but this discussion is about the manipulation of ingrained algorithms. Not about throwing money at a market to prop it up or sell it off.

That analogy is rather extreme with regards to what I am talking about.

I am only saying that it sounds unlikely that they are manipulating algorithms on a adhoc bases for the benefit of some big player without some other big player noticing. CME makes money weather you win or you lose, why would they favor one entity and risk all? P.S. I am not familiar with PPT.

Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulates the rules and maintains functionality of its algorithms. I don´t see how it can gain through manipulation of existing integrated software systems. It makes the rules for all to see and applies them, end of story. The rest are just...

This is how it works: First-In, First-Out (FIFO) Algorithm FIFO uses price and time as the only criteria for filling an order. In this algorithm, all orders at the same price level are filled according to time priority. It is important to note that a user loses their order priority when the...

It seems the market is against you when that happens, but the CME have specific algorithms to prevent players having an unfair advantage, other than be better capitalized. I don´t see how these algorithms can be overridden to give a specific MM an unfair advantage.

Well, I have never noticed a fill to buy when my price has any size on the bid. I have had a fill when the volume on the bid is exhausted though, and the lower price never gets hit with a sell. This might happen more often on lower volume contracts.

Thats the same with any of the futures, YM etc, it has to go onto the ask before you can buy it.
