If any crime was committed by JohnsTradingClub by posting the movie, to bring a case the plaintiff would have to have 'standing' show some loss or hurt in some kind. Where was the hurt and where was the loss? What jurisdiction and what DA would hear the case? Compared to internet crimes...

In his interview in Market Wizards PTJ expressed a concern that he could be blamed in some way for the market selloff because he called the turn so accurately. Today, in this current political environment, he could again become the poster-boy for Wall Street greed as the example of an evil...

    Are financial programmers under paid?

The 'product' cannot improve price without adding some differentiatior... Or, through some sort of collective bargaining. Programmers will not join collectives (IMHO). Nitro, did you give up on trading for yourself? I thought at one time you were making progress.... Forget the W2 world it...

    Are financial programmers under paid?

In an open market people move from one opportunity to the next... If you want the increase that an EE would bring then do the work and get the EE.... You are not "required to have" or do anything. It is called freedom. The talent market is very efficient over the long run. In the short run...

BAR BY BAR -- Al Brooks

http://tv.ino.com/free/ INO has hundreds of seminar videos over about 15 years. Some are terrible quality. Look up Larry Williams, Linda Bradford Raschke, Ryan Jones (risk mgmt), then come back to ET and search to find counterpoint arguments for their philosophy. Raschke has about 10 hours...

How can I force myself to make less trades??

In a training seminar by Don Bright in Las Vegas he gave the following example that helped me trade less. "A rookie trader is like a weekend gambler sitting in front of a slot machine. He has a full bucket of quarters and will keep playing until the bucket is empty." Don't trade just...

The Narrowing of the US Tax Base....

Taxation without representation... First California then New York. Watch the Unions do to the USA what they did to the car industry.... Join a Union or get a job in Government.... Hope and Change.

    Are financial programmers under paid?

I would divide programming talent into 2 groups. One group 'writes to specification' and understands the technical environment more than the specific user solution being delivered. The second group is creatively trying to develop new user solutions and expand the competitive advantage. The...

Consecutive losing trades…How many can you take?

There seems to be something important about '3 losses in a row'. From an interview with Nobel prize in economics Daniel Kahneman you can read at http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1077151.html Very interesting. I also remember an interview on the radio with the hall of fame coach John...

    EUR/USD: Down Leg (May 3, 2009) 9:13PM

I placed an order below today's open. My plan was to see if buyers would take out Friday's high, and then test Sunday's open. If it broke Sunday's open I think it may run to 1.3200 where I would take a profit. Very conservative.... It may not get filled until the London market or tomorrow...

    EUR/USD: Down Leg (May 3, 2009) 9:13PM

No, not sure at all, but not willing to trade against HigherHighs and Higher Lows. I would like to see 1 LowerHigh followed by a LowerLow, on a 15 minute chart at least, before shorting.... I wish you a winning trade nevertheless!!! riskfreetrading, what was your reason to sell at this level?
