    Philadelphia Region?

You realize the original purpose of this thread was to see if anyone thought of firms that I didn't have on the list?

    Is the UK finished?

I'm surprised you were able to glean that much about me from just one comment. If that's really how you see it, all the more power to you.

For the purposes of our lifespans though, effectively they are finished...

China building bridge 30 miles long. While we have unpayable debt. Thank you FED, IMF

You mean the Germans will be teleporting from place to place while everyone else is still building the bridge (or desperately trying to fight off the teleporting German military.)

How will GS make money now?

Goldman only became a bank at the beginning of the financial crisis to get government banking. They don't need banking operations for their business model, so they'll just stop being a bank to get around the regulations.

Why some traders are bitching about the lack of volatility?

    Philadelphia Region?

Are there any prop firms you know of in the Philadelphia region? I'm primarily curious about equities firms. I came up with the following list but I haven't been able to verify where all of their offices are/if they actually have an office: Bright Trading (Cherry Hill, NJ) Orion Trading...

Rapid Day Trading and Scaling... how wise?

Depends on what type of trade you're making and your hit/miss ratio. If you're able to capture a large run, but solid hits are few and far between, then by all means scale in and out. You're essentially dipping your foot in the water here and then diving in when you realize the water is...

How to market your strategy ?

This is going to sound a little snarky, but hopefully you get the intent: When you finally realize what the point is, then maybe you'll have a chance of marketing it.

China's Google hack done in retaliation for recent U.S. missile sale to Taiwan.

Personally, I think if this was a retaliatory measure against US action with Taiwan, it'd be something more significant, such as cybertheft of say, missile data. It's not like hacking some human rights activists' accounts are going to punish Taiwan or the US at all.
