Human traders can beat algorithms by relying on gut feeling, study shows

I doubt this approach would be effective for many, however I know with certainty that generally in life there are some highly disciplined people who are also highly instinctive. I think a trader relying on gut feeling can survive if (s)he is highly disciplined.

Does anyone knows how much can I possibly make a day in the FOREX market with $3,000?

I play a similar game with USDCAD, but if you really understand why this works you will realize that it can't work forever. Its no perfect solution, only something that seems to be working for now. Profit while you can. At some point you will take a big loss.

    why isn't CAD stronger

Short USDCAD. It will go against you for a while, but eventually will be profitable. Its a slow and easy way to win some cash.

    Getting some money

This is sort of correct, however with a direct loan or loan from credit card you get to further multiply your margin. With 0$ to your name, and a 30% margin requirement, you can borrow $25,000, and have $25000/.3 = $83333 of buying power. You have already been given access to 25K with a margin...

    Getting some money

I tend to agree with JackRap. Borrowing is ok, if you have a plan, but if you're just going to bankrupt if you lose, that is horribly irresponsible. You're going to lose anyhow if your trade with that mentality.

    Getting some money

Borrowing and trading at an interest rate of 15 to 25% is indeed insane. However, these days I can yank 25 to 45K in cash advance through balance transfers at 0% and 1% fee for a year. These are great deals if you get them, but only if your real job allows you to pay it off in a hurry if you...

I think after two consecutive days of increases we're going to see a pull back today. That's what I am counting on, thats what the futures show, and I have reduced my exposure so that I am no longer relying on margin in my account. In fact, I have 33% cash position right now. Canadian numbers...

As I see it we can both profit on our respective sides. There is enough volatility. You grab it as it falls. I'll grab it as it rises. We both win!

    Buckle up Guys its starting

I sold my TQQQ with a modest profit today, only to buy back in again as it fell. Sadly, I am down $100 on the newest trade. It dropped much more than I expected today.
