Science says time travel is possible

I agree. Schrödinger's cat Two possible states of cat? Dead or Alive. Perhaps, there are an infinite possible number of available states: Quantity of available oxygen. It depends entirely on how your mind defines the problem. Time/space is now a mental problem. Our thought controls...

Science says time travel is possible

Talking about paradoxes, what about travelling into the future? I travel from F1 to F2, but doesn't my presence in F2, assume the existence of F3? Therefore, aren't I influencing the past of F3, by travelling to F2. Way easier to think of multiple simultaneous timelines or no time travel at all.

Science says time travel is possible

Yes, I was just teasing you. Its all daydreaming. None of us really know. My brain handles the multiple simultaneous timelines more comfortably. The contractions and conflicts you create by allowing the "single" timeline to be changed through travelling into the past, messes with my head...

Science says time travel is possible

Perhaps, you can contribute some real "science". :) :) I don't see any posts from you except one where you're dreaming about how you can use time travel to benefit your trading.

Science says time travel is possible

Clearly, the interactions are evident in the newly created timeline. However, it doesn't effect our current timeline. Frankly, I find that more unlikely. It seems improbably to think that we can actually destroy our current timeline, by traveling back in time and modifying a key event...

Science says time travel is possible

No, not necessarily. The time travel creates a new reality C1,D1, E1.... where C1 is aware of time travel, but you and I who are in C, D, E .... are not aware of events in C1, D1, E1... I wish I could draw a diagram for you. Think of branches on a tree. The "bird" is on the furthest...

Science says time travel is possible

The existence of many unmeasured states is already documented in basic Quantum mechanics. All possible states exist in theory simultaneously, but not in practice until one state is measured ( the act of moving back in time to point C, for example ). As we move forward in time in our day to day...

Science says time travel is possible

My theory: more than one reality can exist at the same "time". The instant you travel back in time, you're initiating a new time line from the instant that you arrive. A,B, C ..... F. Travel back to point C, and you begin a new line C1, D1, E1, F1. My theory is that C, D, E F still exists...

    Costs of trading

I agree with the assessment that opportunity cost should not be considered. With any career you choose, there is always an opportunity cost since you clearly could be doing something else with your life. Is money the only way to measure that opportunity cost? My point is that because it is a...

Owning a Dog Can Add 10 Years to Your Life

A dog like that needs a cat like this! Not mine - just a google image.

Owning a Dog Can Add 10 Years to Your Life

Yes, that sounds about right. My cat runs away from my 2 year old son, but directly confronts and fights back against dogs who chase him. It would be a very interesting dynamic if I added a big bouncing puppy into the mix. I "threatened" my wife about my plan to add a puppy, and the look I...

Owning a Dog Can Add 10 Years to Your Life

... and take at least one of 9 lives away.... WHERE DID THAT DAMN DOG GO??! IS IT SAFE YET?! This is a younger version of this cat who only yesterday directly confronted a dog who was chasing him, jumped up, and bit him on the neck!

I'm not the one creating a thread sarcastically whining about the market conditions!

Who else is finding this the best intraday trading market in years

In my experience, when people complain about the market conditions on ET, they're losing money. Since your "positive" remarks were in fact sarcastic, I am guessing you're complaining, and therefore losing money.

Who else is finding this the best intraday trading market in years

I don't understand why you're being sarcastic. Thanks to the Trump induced mania, I have enjoyed some of my best trading in a long time. How can anybody lose money in these conditions? The markets are throwing money at me. I just wish I had more nerve to take greater risks, however I'm...
