Charting Service/data feed for FOREX TICK CHARTS

eSignal provides two types of Forex data. First off, we provide an aggregate/composite feed representing quotes from upwards of 200 contributors (brokers, banks, etc) across over 100 currency pairs. We also provide this data across a depth screen so you can compare quotes from different...

    CME fee waiver question

The integration does provide a connection into your brokerage acct for display purposes. We don't save or log any of that information though. Thanks.

    Candle print question

You can configure the desktop to display exchange time zones, GMT or local (under File/Preferences/Date and Time Settings. We pass along the exchange time stamp where it's provided (which is for most US exchanges). To answer your theoretical question, in general, the bar building should match...

    CME fee waiver question

Few comments here: 1. That's because someone like TT has the fee-waivers in place already. 2. Not nec true. Pit-traded data is rarely given at no charge and if it is, the broker is most likely paying for it on your behalf (because they make enough money from you in other ways). Also not...

    Preferred Stocks

To get a listing of NYSE/AMEX Preferred's, you can use our built-in symbol search and look for every symbol that ends in /P. Nasdaq Preferred's would be a bit harder to find as they use several formats. Sample attached. Thanks.

    CME fee waiver question

All the symbols included with the CME Globex fee-waiver package (over 6000 symbols) are listed within our built-in Symbol Look-up search engine. We don't maintain complete physical lists but rather rely upon the database to maintain the symbol lists, exchange codes, etc. In simple terms, if...

    Charts

Hi there, Depending on your subscription, you'll be able to view between 200 and 1000 symbols "at a time". How many charts you display is more a function of how many monitors you use, screen resolution, size of each chart, etc. Doing 50 charts is not a problem at all though. Thanks.

    esignal used wrong pswrd

Paul has the right instructions but it's really more a matter of which file takes precedence. Whatever un/psw is entered under File/Preferences, will overwrite what's in the DM. So, changes need to be done w/in the eSignal application to work. We left the setting in the DM in case users have a...

S&P emini futures signal for eSignal

Most ETF's still come through AMEX, so you'll need to add that exchange. I agree, it's confusing that they are listed ARCX since you can't directly sign-up for ARCX. We'll see how we can make that clearer but most others are fairly straightforward with most XL codes listed here. Thanks.

S&P emini futures signal for eSignal

Try this Index lookup site. Just type in the symbol you currently follow (like $VIX) and you'll get back what exchange/package you need to subscribe to for real-time. $VIX is part of the new MDI package. Thanks.

S&P emini futures signal for eSignal

Unfortunately, that's an exchange requirement for real-time data, since it's fee liable. One user equals one PC at a time. As you found, you can install on as many PC's as you'd like but you can only run one at a time. Thanks.

S&P emini futures signal for eSignal

ES is still the underlying symbol and Z9 represents Dec 2009. You're most likely looking for ES H0 (for March 2010). Alternately, you can use the continuous symbol ES #F and that'll always use the front month from a price action standpoint. Fast_Trader: nice demo! Thanks.

    Esignal Qlink Backfill Help

I believe it will although I haven't seen the final spec as of yet. The goal would be to grab as many fields as possible, since this upgraded QLink tool will be used for both individual and Corporate use. Thanks.

    Esignal Qlink Backfill Help

There is a bug in asking for back-fill via QLink. We're in the process of improving the base code for QLink and should have a 3.0 version due out by end of Q1 next year that will be more robust and more stable. In the interim, the only way to counter the bug is to try a different request...
