I was watching a movie on Pluto TV and Uber One was advertising on it about every five minutes the same stupid commercial over and over. Made me feel like shorting Uber.

There was a thread on ET a year or two ago that had a link to an article that said you should only sell options, a spread includes buying options and you should never buy options, spreads are for pussies and are sabotaging yourself and doubting yourself. I wish I had kept track of that thread.

The thing to know about Option Alpha, tastytrade, you name it, is that whatever they supposedly teach has a tendency to not work in the real world.

In other words, you're an inexperienced idiot. If I recall, basically the only options strategy that TD Ameritrade lets inexperienced idiots do is selling puts and selling covered calls. Get good at that before trying any other strategy.

When I make money trading options it's typically from a market maker and a market maker isn't in business to lose money or from some sucker who deserves to lose his money to learn a lesson, so go ahead and make all the money you want from trading options and don't feel guilty about anybody else...
