Just been my experience that dull afternoons in the NQ tend to rally into the close. The double bottom didn't hurt either:)

If you are backtesting a system be aware that if you are using limit orders for entry or exit TS assumes you were filled if the price were touched which in real life trading may not have been the case (read: slippage). So you are going to end up with overly optimistic results.

I think that one has already been tried by Newman and Kramer. As I recall, it didn't work out too well.:p

It amazes me how these people can make all these claims of being profitable even showing their setups (after the fact of course) and then when you ask them for their trading track record they claim they can't show it because it will get them in legal trouble.:confused:

You won't post your trading records yet you seem to have no problem whatsover making claims of profitablity. To me that just doesn't seem right.

I disagree with you. If you are willing to post a two year track record such as Nitro has mentioned what valid criticism can anyone give you? It's the cherry picking of trades that people can see right through.

maxpi Did Tradestation actually include this in the 8.0 release? I had heard rumors that it wasn't going to be in 8.0 but something later.

Most of the questions I have posted to the TS forums never get responded to. Also an email to their customer support takes more than a week to get anything back. Maybe they are simply overloaded? When I first signed up with them a few years ago their email repsonses were within an hour.

Do you have it or know of anyone who does? It is supposed to have real time sync of strategies with trade manager and I am curious how that is working.
