    tradestation intraday backtest period?

You could use the TS Scanner and some custom indicators to perform a "back test" against the entire market. This can also be done in Radar with up to 1000 symbols. Neither is supported directly but can be done. You would need to track your entries and exits, calculate profit/loss, etc...

    ProfLogic's Method

The labels on the trading chart (2401) are generated by using a calculated entry chart ERG, sometimes there are differences between that and the ERG that is generated by the actual entry chart. This appears to be an example of that. Since the calculated entry ERG did not oscillate and create...

I'm not sure what you are talking about here. I didn't post a chart, and stated the entry "would be just as price passes the last LL, as shown in the diagram posted above." You posted the diagram, passes = breached, and as far as the actual entry, yes you can wait for the close, which...

Exactly. I agree, it's just that I didn’t look at it that way at first, perhaps I looked at the chart out of context, but I initially thought it was marking an entry bar. Thanks for clarifying. TG

This is key, looking at that arrow as pointing to the PF makes sense. As an entry, I don't see it as per the rules and that is how I first looked at it. The arrow points to a LH, if you are waiting for weakness as described by the rules the entry would be just as price passes the last LL, as...

You can do this in real time with Global Variables(GV), or if you need historical bars as well you can use All Data Everywhere(ADE). Check out the trader WIKI and search for ADE or GV. There is also the option of creating synthetic bars. Regards, TG

    ProfLogic's Method

You can use a second (or more) dataseries in a ninja indicator via the use of global variables or by writing the dataseries from the sender chart and reading from the receiver chart. The global variable approach will work in real time only, and is fairly straightforward to implement. The...

Laptop overheating - what to do?

It's probably collected a bunch of dust. If you want to fix it, Google the instructions to take it apart and of course put it back together. Then, if you’re comfortable with doing it, take it apart, completely apart, you will likely find the heat syncs on the motherboard all clogged up...
