Spyder, I will be very "skidish" after I enter on VE. Is there a drill for this kind of behavior? hold as long as volume is decreasing? Thank you.

It might be a bad example by saying 10 trades cost 5pts. But over trading is the number one enemy for beginners ( financially and mentally ) every trader battles this constant negative accumulation with decaying performance. I guess my point is 26 trades in 8-10 trades situation is not wise...

It costs .5 point for each trade on average, 5 points for 10 trades... it IS hard to be in the buy side. If you break even in this market, you are a winner. :) the rest is to be more precise. a late happy New Year to everyone.

that's the problem. the roadmap given by spyder is clear, it's just I couldn't see the moment and the form of DOM/2pair which renders meaningful action.

For FTT trading, if the problem with Forex is the absence of volume, then my guess is that adding price indicator such as Stoc or MACD won't help. Bundlemaker once posted an indicator mimics the volume from Forex pit data ( if memory serves). PM him and I'm sure he'll be glad to help.

totally agree. you are so fortunate to realize this in such a early stage. it took me 4 month to just understand the truth behind this one.

IMHO We need two resolution levels in term of limb, tree, forest in mind to trade this method, (not different chart interval). the fast one for entry, and the slow one to go along with the market. the entry risk is eliminated/minimized from the fast resolution, the profit exit/stop is...

Is it a bit too early to draw a p3 up channel there? this is what I would do if I "need" a channel for my stop, I draw it like this... <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1706541>

oh. right... missed that. Thank you Jander. I just wonder why spyder didn't have a p3 up channel ( see green arrowed channel, dark red )? is the decreasing volume so obvious that he Knew it's going to be a short term retrace and didn't even bother to draw a channel...
