I'm familiar with both brokers and my personal experience is that IB often have more shares available. Keep in mind that i've never shorted a stock that traded at $1 or lower. Good luck.

Real time cost money yes. Had read over it. Most of my trading is also in Europe. GER/FR/NL. I agree that yahoo etc. is the best availableb if you want it for free. For US stocks i use FINFIZ as my main screener, find it really handfull.

Is there an overview available where i can see which stocks have weekly options?

It was indeed a nice day to trade! Unfortunatly I was only able to trade the first and last hour. Did some small trades in AH as well. Need to be more patient and let the trades work for me. If I fully respect and adopt that then maybe I can succeed. Gross $99 Net $61 on 12.580 shares

Have been busy with my study lately, so couldn't trade much. No loss, but could have been much better if I didn't chase that one trade. :( Many setups came by today. Net $25,97 on 29.607 shares.

Found some nice setups today but didn't trade them right. Also a bit overtraded, otherwise it would be positive for sure. Target for this week passed. Target for next week is to do better than this week. Without the errors, piece of cake. Have a good one! :D

First of all I'm happy that i din't lost my gain of yesterday. I learned a lot today. Shorted SLTD at the low off the day @ $13,68 ouch. Can happen, but the size was not according to my trading plan so I stopped out with a loadfull of it. Again managed to make that 'big' loss ok, but wihtout...
