No, you have it backwards friend. Obesity in very rare cases is tied to disregulation of hormones. In nearly all cases, it's tied to diet and lifestyle. When I walk into a bakery, I look around, and estimate that 95% of the patrons have no business eating that stuff, until they reach a safe body...

Yep. What @cdcaveman posted Try to get in touch with Blair Hull. He just retired back to California. I think he'd be interested in promoting his Hull Tactical ETF. This guy is a pioneer, and legend. Not an average Joe, but worth a shot.

This would be very hard for me to implement, but in theory, it sounds interesting.

Those two will help significantly, but in no way guarantee a trading edge, which is ultimately the problem. You'll just go broke slower, and probably end up back in the workforce, or doing odd jobs to build up/blow up another trading account.

I think about it every time. Sure feels dirty but I always go back to it. Not that I’m in bad shape or nothing, but human impulsiveness is powerful. Just realized you’re comparing donuts to money. Nothing good comes out of a donut. Plenty of good can be done with money.

Active management is a key ingredient to the recipe. Participants in the trading industry, who want to sit on their hands, get taken to the cleaners. Nothing wrong with that by the way, if you just buy the SPY periodically and go about your daily life.
