    Democrat or Republican

How can we even ask???? Of course the Republicans will be better. All democrats want to do is to redistribute wealth.... not very good for the economy.

    ECN Costs

We do NOT get 0.005 we get 0.002. That is the problem. The rest get on "if we get paid we'll pay you" basis I work at Genesis

    ECN Costs

First of all: The deal with trac is this: They are a bunch of hasidic jews out of boropark who will pay only when they get paid. since we provide 60% of their total volume we negotiated a deal with them on a "no matter what basis" LSPD (marketxt) died. TRAC may too - although they may...

SCALPERS: Criteria for cutting losses / profit-taking

I agree, it would be impossible to scalp stocks like MSFT, but then again, you cannot scalp them. The higher movers, lower price (such as INTC) you can - whith less shares: i.e. 2000 - 6000. (which i wrote in my first post). However that is not true scalping already: its combining momentum...

SCALPERS: Criteria for cutting losses / profit-taking

First of all, true scalping is trading at least over 10,000 shares. so, a penny loss on that is 100 bucks. If you trade for larger swings: you're trading momentum. And I am on the planet that makes $$$.

Odd-Lot Short Sales on the rise

who care? odd lots don't mean crap: also think of the multiplication principle: Let's say I am bidding 1000 shares on ISB. Some asshole gives me 3 shares. I get pissed sell those 3 shares to a MM. He gets pissed and sells them through REDI/ARCA, etc. etc. etc. you know how you...

SCALPERS: Criteria for cutting losses / profit-taking

The system is simple: Figure out mental resistance and who's the axe. As soon as you see you're wrong - get the f*ck out. If you don't, you're looking at a several thousand dollar loss. In absolut figures: no more than 15 - 20 mills. If you trade 50,000 shares per side: don't...

    Accepting Losses

I've had some loosing streaks that lasted comple of days/weeks. The best way to break out of them (if you have the power to do so) is to realize that loosing is the part of the game - and without losses it is impossible to win. Think about it this way: You loose on a trade (let's say 1...

She violated Federal Law not NASD. The Insider Trading Act. NASD has no authority over the public, only us the registered traders :(.

    Watley Ultimate Trader

I haven't traded on it but I took a look at it. It is a very capable system that is good for trading. Since I haven't traded on it and only have been given a tour and one hour on it - I can't say much. Looks viable. Who did you speak with at AB Watley? Also, depending on what type of trading...

    The new CLK

One of the nicest things about the new CLK is that it doesn't have a bi pillar - making it a true coupe. Therefore it is VERY easy to distinguish from any other Mercedeses, the older CLKs the new Cs and the Es and from any other car. I was considering the 55AMG and the 500 and realized that...

nasdaq vs nyse(important...too me at least)

NASDAQ is a more liquid market place - its close to pure unmanipulated trading as you can get trading equity. If you're good at recognizing the patterns: NASDAQ is better. NYSE has specialists who can do whatever they want. If you learn what they do, and what the big boys do, you can be...

    Prop Offers

VERY few firms are offering a salary or a draw. Unless you are a professional trader who can rely on making money stably every month to support your habits (beside your rent and bills) then a salary is great to start out. Future trading has a lot of potential. Good luck!

What indexes do you watch for trading Naz stocks?

During most of the day on Tueday, Intel's (INTC) chart was identical in its move to the futures. I wouldn't use them as the only guide, but I almost never go against the futures. They help by telling when to get out and when to not get in.
