I mean that they promised to pay 5, instead they paid 2.5 (after many negotiations). I was going into trades realizing a gross loss expective 5 rebate: instead I got 2.5. The 10 grand was lost only on the gross difference, not counting the unrealized profit.

Don't lose hope: if you're sure you are at the high/low, but don't know which directions: trade straddles. That way you are always right. What do you trade?
