Can't answer your question since I don't use stops for any security in particular. I think using stop entry/exits for every security is very expensive considering the narrow ranges nowadays.

I think it depends on your trading style. If you trade breakouts, then you may just have to trade at the market prices. If you trade support/resistance, then you may be able to buy at bid and sell at ask. Myself, I've never really mastered S/R trading so, most of my orders are mkt or lmt.

Most of those symbols are not exactly "tradable". These guys rip you on the spreads due to low volume. More appropriate for "investors".

What does this have to do with trading or Elite Trader?

First, make up your mind. Do you want quotes for excel only, and if so how *many*? Do you need charting? Or do you want/need both?

Other important things would be... How many trades has the system done? From what date to what date? How was the system developed? How much optimization was involved (don't come back with "none")? Is this your system or someone else's? Does it trade only 1 security and if so what happens...

Then you'd probably be complaining about liquidity, etc, etc. Remember, the markets are here to separate you from your money. The only "products" available for you to easily trade have *no* edge. Tha'ts why they make it into an ETF and into an E-mini and they slice it and dice it into 1000...
