I agree with Nisha....... Whatever makes $ for you. Obviously some poster here have tried divergence and tried 1m charts and not had success. I'll mention again, I use 1m charts and divergence from an indicator and finally became profitable using this. So, to your original question...

I just read this entire thread (at this point 73 pages) scanning for TRADING TALK and let me tell you there is more crap than trading talk. Traders are disciplined individuals, right ? Well if they could discipline themselves to only post about trades and leave the, as someone said earlier...

I trade almost solely from 1m charts. I look to the higher timeframes for support and resistance. I FINALLY became profitable using this.

Can the cbot.com volume info be right ? It says mini gold traded 379 contracts today (yes that's hundreds)

I find I trade best when I am doing other things than staring at every tick. It keeps objectivity. Set ups jump out of the screen instead of blank stares at the screen creating what looks like a good set up.

If you go to a 1m chart of NQ, at 10:36am the market hit support that held for the day. What was the support ? Personally I do not see a trendline, pivot or moving average on any time frame at that support.

Rawman, Those charts comparing the Nikkei to some U.S. markets are pretty interesting. I was looking at some of the similairities in the charts myself about a year ago, but realized, I do not want to look at them any more because they were/are too similair and I do not want our U.S. markets...
