I only use price as well...I mean I have to pick a point to reverse of course, which results in only one of two things. It is alot of button pushing but I have an assistant do it. And ur preachin to the choir about naps...ha 130est im on the couch watching Green Acres. :cool:

Rm-I only trade the es and Im "always in", but I dont use trend; at least in the sense of trend lines, x-overs, etc.. Rather, I use only support and resistance prices for reversal points. The only time Im out of the market is when I quit. My real grief came, like you and everyone else...

i used to think million - billion...whats the difference. Think about this...a million seconds is about 11 days...a billion seconds? almost 32years. i cant do a trillion on my calc but if my math is right a trillion seconds is like 32,000 years. man, thats alot of money to kick into that shit...

I was doing this a couple of years back with the s&p...like in 1990. Reversed the losses and doubled up on the contracts (1-2-4-8-10-10). If you cant snag a pretty hefty winning trade by your 4th or 5th trade, and assuming you start with 1 contract on the es, you can be in deep shit ($3,500+)...

Nope...usually its like Stardust said...the "hope mode" kicks in at the 8 level and then the "please God" at the 16 and when that rolls against you...the conspiracy theory justifies the puke on your keyboard and desk.

oh, and there isnt any backtesting required...if u martingale...at some point ur gonna get stung. :cool:

Still amazed that it took me 25years and several $100 thou to figure that shit out... But until you win more trades than you lose it takes some fancy footwork to get out with ur clothes... :cool:

uhh...why all the accounts. progress the numbers...1-2-4 then just add ur second set of what ever you were gonna add to the second and third account etc... kinda lame to have all those accounts dude. :cool:

and let me add that its all realative...job or independent, there are always risks. I have been fortunate and only had one or two "jobs" in my whole life. While I always worked for my self I have more than once worked my ass off and got beat out of the money. Moreover, I didnt even see it...
