Anyone familiar with this? Does this apply to companies engaged in equities trading? It says the annual turnover has to be less than 1m euros. So two trades worth 500k euros each would push that above 1m? ( I am talking about the size of the trade not the profit)

Yes it doesn't work as long as it's a foreign owned LLC. I think if you partner up with an American resident (multi member llc) then it might work.

You could move to the UK (although I don't know how easy it is for EU residents post-brexit) and claim non-dom status and then get taxed on a remittance basis. You would only have pay taxes on money you bring into the UK the first (7?) years. I would talk to an accountant for the specifics.
